Supreme Court
The United Supreme Court of America is the highest judicial body in the US. The Federal Judiciary
leads falls under the Court. The Court consists of the Chief Justice and eight others. The other eight have
to be nominated by The President but the "majority" vote matters as well. Once they are in, they are in till
death, retirement, resignation, conviction and or impeachment. This Court is a place where most appeals
happen so when a lower court case ends the supreme court case begins. Each person picks a clerk to go
over the arguments and the issue the case is going to present.
Currently the Chief Justice is John Roberts and the Associate Justices are Samuel Alito, Amy Coney
Barrett, Neil Gorsuch, Elena Kagan, Brett Kavanaugh, Sonia Sotomayor and Clarence Thomas.
