Where i get my news

I'm not the biggest news reader, however i do tend to take sneak peaks at what goes on in the world from different genres, weather i be politics, world news, lifestyle and sports. As i said before the only reason i don't read the new as often as i should is because the world is really scary right now and i don't see the point in torturing my emotions, unless its good news like sports, general facts and or lifestyle news, most of the time i don't want to know.

  1. Twitter- This app is my favorite place to find my news sources no matter the genre. Twitter customizes an individual "for you" page for viewers to receive whatever type of news they want.

Snapchat Logo 2. Snapchat- This app kind of has the same features when it comes to news as the app mentioned above. It personalizes news stories according to the viewer. However there is a lot more sports and lifestyle news that any other so this can be a disadvantage or advantage.

3. Instagram/The Shade Room- The Shade Room is a black owned news platform run by Instagram. They report about all types of news and since it is on Insta, it allows you to comment your individual views on situations. This can get a little heated but Instagram sometimes does a good shop in doing something about cruel comments.

4. The New York Times- This is not a favorite per say but it gets the job done, especially for school assignments. It is very easy to rome hundreds of different kinds of news stories especially when you have a subscription to it. Once again it has many different genres to choose from and doesn't limit readers to opinions but gives you the actual facts.

5. Daily Mail- Daily Mail has almost the same vibe as The New York Times but it is the kind of News site that focuses a lot on opinions and not what the actual news story is about.
